What do you do when you give a gift to someone and they are completely ungrateful??
This recently happened to us. Rather than saying "Wow, thanks for the gift" or "How thoughtful of you to think of us" we got "Hmmm...I'd prefer something else."
My response:
BITE ME!!

I'll tell you this much they sure as heck wouldn't be getting any more gifts from me! Of course if they are family and you HAVE to get them something, I'd make it a gift card or just a card from now on. If they ever ask why - I'd tell them it's b/c you clearly don't know their taste in things and wanted to get them something "safe" since they didn't appreciate your previous gift.
